Special Exhibition Zone for Innovative Applications of Construction Robots

To implement the spirit of the National Housing and Urban-Rural Development Work Conference, strengthen technology-driven development, and promote high-quality housing that meets public expectations, this exposition aims to advance the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry through industrialization, digitalization, and greenization. It will showcase the latest achievements and technological advancements in housing and urban-rural development.
With the approval of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China，the Technology and Industrialization Development Center (Residential Industrialization Promotion Center) of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China (MOHURD), the China Real Estate Association, and the China Architectural Culture Center will jointly host the 22nd China International Exposition of Housing Industry & Products and Equipment of Building Industrialization (hereinafter referred to as "CIHIE") at the Beijing Shougang International Exhibition Center from October 15th to October 17th, 2026. After years of development, CIHIE has become a highly authoritative and influential exhibition in the field of housing and urban-rural development.
This year's expo, themed "Technology Empowers Quality Housing Construction, Industrial Upgrading Drives Development", will highlight the latest domestic and international technologies, products, and exemplary models for constructing "Quality Housing". It aims to promote the application of technological innovations and lead industrial transformation and upgrading. Participants will include entities and professionals engaged in low-carbon buildings, ultra-low energy consumption buildings, new building industrialization, intelligent construction, housing and real estate, high-quality building materials, urban renewal and new urban infrastructure, and rural construction.
To centrally showcase the latest technological achievements in the field of construction robotics and establish a platform for industry-academia-research collaboration, this year’s CIHIE will feature a dedicated "Special Exhibition Zone for Innovative Applications of Construction Robotics". It will bring together world-leading enterprises, research institutions and teams to explore the new ecosystem of future construction.
With the rapid development of technologies such as AI, IoT, and 5G, the construction industry is accelerating its transformation towards intelligence and greenization. As a core driver for upgrading construction industry, construction robots have been widely applied in fields including construction, surveying and mapping, 3D printing, and safety inspection.

II. Key Exhibition Content
(A) "Quality Housing" Construction Models
This section will focus on showcasing the latest achievements of relevant cities and enterprises in advancing the model construction of "quality housing, quality residential compounds, quality communities, and quality urban areas". It will highlight construction methods and technological product systems for quality housing that meet the requirements of safety, comfort, greenness, and smartness.
(B) New Construction Industrialization and Prefabricated Buildings
This section will focus on showcasing the latest achievements made by different regions in advancing the development of new construction industrialization and prefabricated buildings. The exhibits will cover the latest technological systems, products, mechanical equipment, and construction technologies, as well as new progress and models in improving standards and specifications, and expanding the full-life-cycle industrial chain. It aims to enhance the exchange of policies and technical development experience.
(C) Intelligent Construction
This section will focus on showcasing the latest achievements of pilot cities and enterprises in advancing the development of intelligent construction. The exhibits will include technologies and products related to digital design, intelligent production, and intelligent construction, as well as construction robots, 3D printing, and smart construction site management systems.
(D) Prefabricated Decoration
This section will focus on showcasing prefabricated decoration technologies, as well as products and components related to integrated kitchens, integrated bathrooms, integrated storage solutions, and long-service-life residential features.
